| The University of Plymouth pioneered Robot Football in the UK and for many years Plymouth University were the UK national champions in the Mirosot league. More recently they have ventured into the bipedal league, the first UK University to do so. The University of Plymouth had considerable success at the European championships in Germany and Austria last year. The Lord Mayor's Day is held up on the Hoe. This is a popular event with lots of charities raising lots of money, incluing mrwaxer.co.uk, who has recently teamed up with the PYC. |
Tour and Q&A with the Millfeilds Trust - Wednesday 15th April with a 4pm start |
The Millfields Trust is a not for profit company offering offices-rental, that has been set up to enable local people to contribute to the regeneration of the old St Peter Ward in Plymouth, and have a say in the management of that process.They own the big HQ building on Union Street. The Trust is at the forefront of a movement to promote sustainable solutions to renewable energy sources.

The Una Group are an umbrella corporation that consist of three areas; business support services, from IT to book keeping, from HR to Health & Safety, from disaster recovery space to warehousing & logistics; commercial property development, such as regeneration and new build schemes; and environmental activities have built a unique rubber processing facility in Plymouth and are leading a number of research projects into new applications for both this material and other recycling activities. Moofu are dedicated to producing video and computer games to enthuse young people to learn in a way that is new and exciting, not in a way that has been directed. Their first product is due to launch in January 2009 - Good luck MooFu. |

From 2pm until 5pm at the B-Bar, we will be launching the Plymouth Young Chamber. Click here for directions. There will be free Thai Nibbles and 2gb USB sticks. Lee Spence, owner of C-3 clothing company, will make an appearance to tell you all how he started his own business at the age of 19. |
